Passengers are able to purchase a Priority Boarding Voucher at a cost of R500 per Couple. (Sinfonia Departures) and R400 per couple (Melody departures) departing Durban port ONLY. In the event that the 3rd and 4th passengers in the cabin are children, the children will not be charged separately for Priority Boarding.

Priority Boarding must be pre-booked - it cannot be booked and paid for at the port as a passenger list is required to be sent to the ship in advance of the cruise date

BENEFITS OF PRIORITY BORDING

• Dedicated MSC Starlight Cruises ground personnel to assist Priority Boarding Passengers from the drop off baggage desks with a selected Priority Registration point where embarkation procedures will commence. (You will receive a Priority boarding voucher in your e-documents which you will have to print and present on arrival at the port).
  
  
• Priority Boarding Passengers arriving in vehicles will be escorted from the parking area towards the dedicated drop off baggage desks by a golf cart.
  
  
• Priority Boarding Passengers arriving by shuttle/bus will be dropped off directly in front of the NShed entrance, and will proceed towards the dedicated drop off baggage desks, where they will all be directed to the Priority Boarding Registration point (Welcome Desk).
  
  
• Luggage will be scanned separately and delivered directly to your cabin - Color coded luggage labels will be handed to Priority Boarding passengers at the drop off baggage desks.

• Priority Boarding Passengers will be accompanied by MSC Starlight Cruises ground personnel to the exclusive Priority Boarding lounge, where free snack and drinks will be made available.
  
  
•  Dedicated Priority Boarding staff will assist with Check-in, cruise and credit card registrations. An Immigration channel is reserved for Priority Boarding Passengers.
  
• A dedicated channel at the accounting desk on board will be open to assist Priority Boarding Passengers to activate their cruise accounts, only in the case they are carrying cash, and the same will be available for settling their accounts before disembarkation.

• A dedicated area will be designated for Priority boarding passengers waiting to disembark, which will be closest to the ship’s exit, and will be indicated by the ship’s pursers.
  
  
• Luggage will be disembarked separately and available for collection in a separate area from the other luggage being offloaded and a dedicated immigration and customs Priority Boarding channel will be available to speed up this process.
